eJuice Review 158: Fruit Loups – Juice by Coops
Introduction:
If you’re in any vaping Facebook groups, you’re bound to have seen these guys pop up every now and then.
Juice by Coops has been operating for a while now.
They’re based in Western Australia, and pride themselves on their 100% original, hand crafted, max VG recipes.
Today I’ll be reviewing “Fruit Loups”!
The Review:
Fruit loops and cereal vapes hit the scene hard last year, and it seems like every man and his dog has his own fruit loops juice. Ive heard them described as lemon overkill, lemon pledge, and so on, due to the addition of lemon that these flavours lean on.
I could ask the question, “Is this lemon nuance that’s prevalent in many cereal vapes necessary?”
The answer would of course be yes. Fruit loops does in fact have that nuance, however, it is more in the smell than the taste, which is precisely why it’s so difficult to make a cereal vape without it. When you vape, a large portion of your taste actually comes from your sense of smell.
So having bored you all with the lecture on lemon flavour, or lemon scented fruit loops, is “Fruit Loups” from Juice by Coups any different?
No, no it’s not. It definately has it, and quite rightly so, as it is the backbone of any fruit loops flavour. The lemon is far from obtrusive however, as there is no sourness, it is quite sweet actually.
What “Fruit Loups” does have however, is a sneaky biscuity and cereal like bottom layer. Once your tastebuds acclimatise to the lemon, you begin to notice the real cereal notes coming through. It’s a bit of a progressive vape. The more you vape it, the less lemon you get and more cereal comes through. It makes this quite an interesting vape that will hold your attention while you hunt for the new found cereal/biscuit backnotes.
The inhale is probably more true to its name than the exhale, I find that at this point it is quite light and does not hit you too hard with the lemon. The cereal backnotes are noticeable you will need to look for them though.
The exhale Ramps everything up, including the lemon. Throughout the exhale you get sneaky hints of biscuit and cereal, they add a lot of body to this flavour, and become a lot more noticeable the more you vape. I notice that despite the lemon and cereal notes that this flavour is quite sweet throughout the exhale which is great and gives a nice frosted feel to the cereal.
All in all this is quite the solid performer and a great vape that will keep you interested all day long.
