eJuice Review 71: Frosted Berry by Clouded Visions

frosted_berry_v3_1024x1024Here’s the 7th of my series of Clouded Visions eJuice reviews.

Today I’ll be reviewing “Frosted Berry”.
You can pick up the Clouded Visions range from their website @ http://www.cloudedvisions.com.au

From the website:

“A fusion of various types of berry, dominated by Blueberry and Boysenberry with hints of both Raspberry and Blackberry. Sweet and slightly tart, this is a complex flavour that is constantly evolving with age.
Frosted Berry now comes standard without menthol, if you would like menthol, please select either the Single, Double or Triple Shot option on the product page.”

The Review:

Berries such as those that are in this juice are really really difficult to mix with.
Blackberry, Raspberry are quite strong and its really hard to dial in the perfect mixture.
Throw in Boysenberry and Blueberry and you have a catastrophe waiting to happen.
Too much, and it all goes soapy, too little and its all washed out. Play the flavours together even slightly wrong and you get an indistinguishable mess.

Clouded visions got it right with this one though!

The sample that I received has menthol in it, I believe it now comes standard without, but you can always request it with menthol from their site.

The 4 berries play really nicely in Frosted Berries.

The Boysenberry and Blueberry provide a lovely berry mix, the blackberry provides a little tartness and the raspberry brings the tanginess.

On inhale its all Boysenberry with a backnote of blueberries for a little tone.
On exhale the blackberry and raspberry make an appearance to provide tartness and a little tang at the same time, finishing off with a nice menthol freshness.

I really liked this one, it has a clean, taste with a different play on the berry theme. Just right on the sweetness, tartness and tang. It’s a very different flavour from many of the berry mixes out there, and its done well. A lot of time has gone into this one. Definately all day vape material.
