eJuice Review 188: Dojo Custard by The Dojo Vape Co.

Introduction:

The Dojo Vape Co. are a new arrival on the Australian vape scene. They’ve launched with just the one flavour for the moment, with more on the way.
TDVC are based out of Melbourne, and specialise in dessert flavours. Their juice is mixed in small batches and presteeped for 3 weeks so that the juice you receive is at its best both flavour and quality wise.

Their first flavour available is “Dojo Custard”, let’s see what its like!

From the Website:

A full bodied custard with rich clouds, of not to sweet, perfection. Japanese culinary art taken into consideration to create a magnificent e-juice to vape on all day. Made with USP Grade PG and VG which is 100% organic and vegan friendly. Flavours are sourced with great effort to ensure consistent taste..

The Review:

It’s no wonder TDVC started their range with only the one flavour, custard. Its delicious, and they’re not wrong when they say they are custard connoisseurs.

Judging by Dojo Custard, they totally know what they’re doing when it comes to custards!

Dojo Custard is a rich and complex vanilla custard with cream, and cinnamon notes, as well as a faint bakery nuance that makes this more than just a basic custard.

The custard is pretty familiar here, and the cream and cinnamon are expertly mixed in with it with a mastery that is obvious. Each nuance in this juice can stand on its own, but does not override any of the others.

They comfortably merge into the one complex custard, sitting on a light flakey pastry base.

On the inhale, its of course vanilla custard all the way. Its fairly light at this point as most custards are.

The exhale sees everything intensify, and ramp up in flavour. While the custard gets thicker and creamier with the help of the creams, a sugary cinnamon brushes your tongue giving you a hint that this flavour is a little bit more complex than the label admits.

There is also the lightest touch of a bakery note here, leaving the impression that this brilliant custard is sitting on a light flakey pastry base.

I could be wrong but I also detect the smallest amount of fruit in here sometimes. Its so light that I cannot tell what it is but it definitely has that fruity sweet nuance. Of course I could be totally off point and it may just be the effect given from the mixture of flavours. Whatever it is, it provides another dimension and some more depth to an already brilliant juice.

Custard lovers pay attention, this is a must try, its up there with some of the best custards in the business, you definitely won’t regret it!

Fantastic work TDVC and of course thankyou for sending this through for review.
