eJuice Review 73: Creamed Coconut by Clouded Visions

creamed_coconut_v3_1024x1024Here’s the 9th of my series of Clouded Visions eJuice reviews.

Today I’ll be reviewing “Creamed Coconut”.
You can pick up the Clouded Visions range from their website @ http://www.cloudedvisions.com.au

From the website:

“A rich combination of dried and sweetened coconut within a thick creamy base, with just a hint of key lime mixed throughout. Not quite sweet, not quite savory, a perfect balance between the two, making for a fantastic ADV.”

The Review:

Let me preface this review by mentioning that I hate coconut. Real coconut is ok, but candy coconut, I just cant stand. So I wasn’t terribly excited to give this one a go.

Bounty bars, coconut slice, lamingtons, they are normally in the no-go zone for me. I can tolerate them, just in small doses.

Just because I don’t care for something doesn’t mean everyone else hates it too so, my reviews are mainly on the merit of the juice, not my personal preferences.

Ok cool, so we’ve gotten that out of the way.

Creamed coconut seems to be a bit of a hybrid, I get both candy and realistic coconut flavours in here. The creams are almost non existent but I can tell that they are there, and giving the coconut a fullness, body and adding dimension.

I pick up a pinch of lime every so often, but not constantly, I’m finding that it’s only when I’m not looking for it, it pops up and says gday ????

On inhale its all coconut, like I mentioned, a bit of a blend between realistic and candied coconut.
Toward the height of the inhale the creams kick in. I’m getting a sweet cream or a whipped cream flavour coming through, just enough to give a fullness, but not enough to overpower.

Exhale is more of the same, the coconuts and creams all mixed together, rather nicely actually. The mixing here is spot on.

Trailing off on the exhale is where you’ll notice the lime, when it is there, just giving a little dimension and complexity. It’s a neat little addition that, I would never have thought to add a touch of lime to this sort of labour.

All in all, despite my reluctance to coconut, I found this quite a unique flavour, and done really well.

Nicely played guys!

Professional presentation. Nice easy to squeeze plastic bottles with white child proof caps. The label is a gloss white label with their logo and all of the essential details. The juice name is also colour coded, which adds a nice touch.
