eJuice Review 80: Cotton Candy by Contraband Vape Co.
This is my third and final review of flavours in the Contraband Vape Co’s range for now. The reason I’ve only reviewed three as that is what was sent through to me a few weeks ago. Im interested in trying their other flavours, so there may be more reviews going up at some stage.
Today I’ll be reviewing “Cotton Candy”.

The Review:
So cotton candy eh. Now that’s a contraversial flavour right there!
Im going to address this quickly as I know some will be thinking it. Im guilty of assuming it myself before I tried this juice.
Anyone who has been around a while and has tried their hand at mixing their own juices, knows that the Flavour Apprentices cotton candy concentrate is just 10% Ethyl Maltol. It doesn’t even taste like cotton candy. Just kind of sweet without the much needed sugar sensation. There have been a tonne of juice makers overseas that have released cotton candy juices using that exact mix. Let’s just say, the discussion and reviews always went sideways.
I am happy to report that Contraband’s Cotton Candy is not the same. It is not simply Ethyl Maltol, it is a realistic Country Fair Cotton Candy, and quite nice at that!
On inhale I get an instant smooth sugary hit, toward the end of the exhale, that unique spun sugar, cotton candy flavour kicks in. You can almost feel the sweet stickiness of it as you vape.
Exhale is more of the same, the cotton candy flavour Is still there, but by the end of the exhale the cotton candy blends back and it transitions to a nice smooth sugary exhale.
The amazing thing about this juice is that I’ve had zero damage to my coils! No gunking, and the wick not as tarnished as I’d expected with such a sugary sweet juice. 2 days vaping this and I still don’t need to dry burn anything from my coils!

Presentation:
Gold! Awesome gold glass dropper bottles. And not just the standard dropper bottles, these are child proof and have a really nice seal, so when using, the juice can be drawn up cleanly without leaving it dribbling down the side of the bottle.
