eJuice Review 118: Cin City by Silk Road Vapour

IMG_20161212_145047-01Dessert lovers, you’re in for a treat. This week I’ll be reviewing the Silk Road Vapour range of flavours, and many of them are bakeries and desserts!

Silk Road Vapour launched late in 2016, located in the outer suburbs of Sydney. They are mainly in the ejuice business, but do sell some other accessories on their site, like wick, wire, empty bottles and PG/VG.

Let’s get into them!

Today I’ll be reviewing “Cin City”.

You can pick up the Silk Road Vapour range from the their website @ http://www.silkroadvapour.com.au

From the website:

Who doesn’t love a warm soft home made cinnamon doughnut, straight out of the fryer! Extra cinnamon sugar added on top is a must!

The Review:

We’ve got a cinnamon doughnut on the review table today!

Most will come out with a jam doughnut, or a doughnut with frosting flavour, but Silk Road have done things a little differently, and brought a cinnamon doughnut to market.

The cinnamon is all there, which on a side note, I know its quite difficult to get right, so kudos is due for that. It’s not just perfect, it’s a little stronger than perfect, which aligns with the descriptor “Extra cinnamon sugar added on top is a must”.

The dough I am finding is a little bit more of a sweet dough that you would find with a jam doughnut, rather than a fried cinnamon doughnut. I can’t quite put my finger on it, perhaps its a texture thing.
Regardless, this is a really tasty, doughy bakery with just the right amount – and a little bit more – cinnamon sugar cakes over the top.

On inhale I get light cinnamon and dough straight off the bat, no nonsense, it’s just there from the instance I inhale.

Exhale sees both the cinnamon and dough strengthen. The dough changes slightly, to more of a dense sugary dough, similar to what you would get with a balfours chocolate doughnut (minus the choc of course). Perhaps not as much of the fried flavour as it could be.

Continuing the exhale, the dough drops off again leaving a smooth sugary finish.

Another top flavour guys, nicely done!
