Introduction:

If you’re in any vaping Facebook groups, you’re bound to have seen these guys pop up every now and then.

Juice by Coops has been operating for a while now.
They’re based in Western Australia, and pride themselves on their 100% original, hand crafted, max VG recipes.

Today I’ll be reviewing “Chocolate Sauce”!

The Review:

Chocolate is a bit of a tough flavour to work with for vaping. The concentrates that are available are hit and miss, and if you somehow manage to come up with a winning combo, you’re battling with sweeteners and everything that comes with them (gunked coils and blackened wicks).

Coops has done a pretty good job here in regards to what he has used. I’m getting minimal gunking, and well, darkened wicks is something that you just can’t avoid with such a dark juice.

Going by the name “Chocolate Sauce” and the scent that I pickup from it, this is meant to be a chocolate syrup type of flavour. You know the old runny topping you’d squirt over your ice cream as a kid? It’s that. The smell is remarkably the same.

Vaping it is a completely different ball game.

I get a lot of cocoa in this. Powdered cocoa, right down to the same texture that you get, popping a spoonful of it in your mouth. This is definately not a milk chocolate, more a dark chocolate sprinkled with cocoa. It is sweet and rich, powdery, yet not really dry.

Inhale is a little bit of a surprise, as this vapes quite differently to its scent. I pickup primarily cocoa, with a touch of dark chocolate at this point. It’s not too strong but the taste is unmistakable and full bodied.

On the exhale things seem to strengthen up a bit, with the cocoa smoothing out, I find a little dryness kicks in, and this will sound strange, but a touch of a tobacco note hiding in the background. Something akin to black honey tobacco. This all continues to blend together into quite a rich and complex mix, leaving you trying to pick out the various flavours that jumped out at you.

Definately an interesting vape, it’s not really my thing, but for any chocolate and cocoa lovers out there, I think you’ll get a kick out of it.
