eJuice Review 144: Blue Raspberry by Byron Bay Cloud Co

IMG_20170127_174935-01Byron Bay Cloud Co launched in early December of 2016. They’ve been quietly working away ever since on their awesome juice line, and slowly building up a great following.

They have their juices stocked in a few well known vape stores now, so if you’re looking for some top notch new flavours you can pick them up from one of their stockists and of course through their own website. (http://www.byronbaycloud.co)

They’ve been kind enough to send through 3 of their flavours for me to try.

Today I’ll be reviewing “Blue Raspberry”!

From the website:

Like the blue lollies you used to get as a kid. with hints of sweet strawberry and Apple.

The Review:

I really do not know what a blue raspberry is supposed to taste like, but this is a sweet, fruity flavour reminiscent of a blue slushie, similar to the blue version of everyones favourite raspberry gummy, and noticeably like the flavour you would get from a blue lollipop.

The addition of touches of strawberry and apple, was a great idea, and they work really well, not only adding complexity but subtleties that make the whole experience more dynamic.

On what would already be a pretty awesome flavour, the strawberry and apple together provide a little tartness and the apple in particular, a touch of sourness that makes this even more refreshing, bitey and gives it more impact.

Inhale is a very sugary, almost blueberry almost raspberry. It’s quite light going into the inhale, and there isn’t a lot going on besides the pleasant fruity inhale.

Exhale sees the flavour double in volume with a lot of things happening at once.
The blueberry/raspberry carries through and is a constant flavour throughout, but the apple appears quickly on the exhale, not dominating but making itself very noticeable and adding some complexity to the main profile. The strawberry seems to be there too but more of a supporting flavour, and I really only notice the tartness of it. It also adds a little earthiness to the mix, which is very welcomed.
The end of the exhale is quite sweet, I notice that most of the tartness subsides and its all sugary sweetness at the finish.

This is a great all day vape, despite the fact that it has a punch of fruity flavours, it still performs nicely all day, and all of the nuances, front, and back notes do not seem to diminish over time.

A big thumbs up from me, a refreshing, clean, fruity flavour from the master mixers at Byron Bay Cloud Co!

Some really nice presentation here folks. I received 30ml ready to vape bottles. They’re brown glass bottles with white lids and glass droppers. The labels are parchment coloured with the Byron bay cloud co. logo with all of the standard info on them. I also received a bunch of silicone tank Banda and a few silicone bottle holders that protect your glass bottles. Nice touch !

Odis O-Atty with single ss contact coil @ 0.2ohms on a coppervape mod and/or Frankenskull clone.
