eJuice Review 171: Blue by Juiced Vapour

Introduction:

These guys don’t really need an introduction, as I have previously reviewed all of their original 6 flavours.
But if you don’t know, they are a juice vendor based in Melbourne, Australia, and opened shop early last year.
Well, they’ve been hard at work, creating some new flavours to add to their already, comprehensive range.
Lets not spend any more time on the formalities, today I’ll be reviewing “Blue”!

From the Website:

Blue energy drink type flaVour. Ooops typo….or was it? For those who don’t drink those drinks, it’s a Passion fruit and Orange flavoured type vape.
What more can I say? Not much actually, not feeling very chatty today….what? Is this thing on?

The Review:

Energy drink flavours are terrible, I can’t stand them. To me they taste like some strange fruit has turned rancid in the sun and they’ve squeezed that into a bottle that was already half filled with a sour apple cider vinegar. They are horribly over flavoured, sugar drinks akin to drinking unmixed cordial straight out of the bottle.

Thankfully to me, this juice tastes nothing like an energy drink! I really like it!

I really don’t know how to explain Juiced Vapour’s description, perhaps that particular energy drink comes in different flavours and passionfruit/orange is one of them, I really don’t know, but I’m definitely not getting an energy drink vibe from this.

[Edit] I just found out that V Energy Drinks actually do have a flavour that is similar to passionfruit, and the packaging is “Blue” also…. Doh…

What I actually get is a more tropical flavour, not quite a Passiona soft drink, and not quite a Tropical fruit box, somewhere in-between.

It’s not really a bright flavour as you’d expect from a tropical or fruit mix, it leans more on its passionfruit with the orange as more of a background flavour. There is a slight musty or seedy note here also. It’s not a bad thing, it creates a full body feel when vaping it rather than a light and fruity one. It reminds me a little of some of the full pulp orange juices you can buy.

On the inhale I pick up mostly passionfruit that seems to have some other flavours in the mix, as very light notes.

The exhale continues on where the inhale leaves off with predominantly a passionfruit vibe. As the exhale continues, a little bit of sweet pulpy orange shines through here and there between the seedy passionfruit creating the slightly tropical feel.

I find this flavour really interesting. It may not be for everyone, due to the pulp or seedy notes, but if your into natural fruit juices, you’ll find this more akin to one of those.

I’ve been vaping this one all day, and have not put it down.
