eJuice Review 201: Berry Kong by Vapesters

Introduction:

Vapesters have been around for a little while, although relatively new, and I’ve been meaning to try their flavours for just as long.

Vapesters hail from Melbourne, and pride themselves on producing eliquids that are tasty, top quality and bursting with flavour!

Today I’ll be reviewing “Berry Kong”.

From the Website:

Don’t vape this around monkeys, they will go Bananas! A creamy, banana and strawberry custard dessert is sure to delight. A well rounded flavour favourite among vapers, this one will have you wanting to swing through the trees!
Inhale: Sweet banana custard.
Exhale: A sweet strawberry, blended perfectly with that creamy banana custard.

The Review:

The Vapesters range is turning out to be quite an impressive lineup. Every single flavour that I’ve tried so far has been, smooth, flavoursome and totally true to their descriptions. This next flavour is no different!

“Berry Kong” is a velvety smooth, thick banana custard with light touches of sweet strawberry that will keep you coming back for more.

The custard is quite a pleasant custard, it is dialled back a little more than usual custard flavours to allow the banana to come through. It’s thick and creamy though and provides the full bodied texture.

The banana surprisingly is quite light also, I guess it doesn’t really need to be too strong, nor would you want it to be, for risk of it overpowering the custard.

The strawberry is really not that noticeable, it’s just a hint, and even I only notice the tartness appear every so often. It does play an important role though in adding some sharpness and brightness to the lower tones of banana and custard.

On the inhale, the custard shines through the most with some light banana trailing in behind.
Toward the end of the inhale and beginning of the exhale is when I notice the strawberry tartness. It pops in every so often bringing with it some brighter tones and adding just a little bit more complexity to everything. It really works quite well. It’s understated and used purely as a support, brightening up any fullness from the banana.

The exhale intensifies the banana bringing it forward a little, no longer laying behind the custard but up front and side by side with it.
The end of the exhale is a really lovely creamy banana that stays with you a while with its smooth aftertaste.

I love a smooth dessert vape, and this is exactly that.
A totally understated, brilliantly smooth custard vape that you’ll struggle to put down, all day long!
