eJuice Review 121: Banana Bake by Silk Road Vapour
Dessert lovers, you’re in for a treat. This week I’ll be reviewing the Silk Road Vapour range of flavours, and many of them are bakeries and desserts!
Silk Road Vapour launched late in 2016, located in the outer suburbs of Sydney. They are mainly in the ejuice business, but do sell some other accessories on their site, like wick, wire, empty bottles and PG/VG.
Let’s get into them!
Today I’ll be reviewing “Banana Bake”.
You can pick up the Silk Road Vapour range from the their website @ http://www.silkroadvapour.com.au
From the website:
Fresh, rich and nutty banana bread fresh from the oven. A crispy exterior with a warm fluffy interior. Complete with a pinch of cinnamon sugar and drizzled with home made vanilla syrup.
The Review:
This flavour description is so very close to spot on for this juice.
I get fresh fleshy banana, thick creams, a slight bready bakery nuance, a touch of sweet cinnamon and an equal amount of vanilla. Pretty much everything that makes up a banana nut bread.
The only thing I don’t pick up a lot of is the nuttiness that is described. That’s cool though, it is there, just a light dusting of it, but I’d expected it to be a more dominant note.
Importantly, my expectations are wrong quite a lot of the time, (after all I’m not psychic!), and that makes for quite a few nice surprises!
On the inhale, banana is definately the dominant flavour with the creams coming in a close second, the bread is more of a back note giving everything a little body and complexity.
On the exhale, as with most juices, the flavour intensifies, with the cinnamon and vanillas both making a strong entrance, following right through to the end of the exhale, putting a really smooth vibe on things and propping the banana up without taking over.
Quite a nice banana nut bread, if you’re ordering from Silk Road and like your banana, toss this in the cart too, you’ll find its up there with the many other banana nut breads and makes a great all day vape!
