eJuice Review 309: Apple Turnover by Bunyip Vapes

Wow, these Bunyip Vapes juices have been good. The consistency across the range has been fantastic, and the flavour intensity and profiles have been pretty great too! Today I’ve got another one for you!

Today I’ll be reviewing, “Apple Turnover”!

This juice was supplied by the vendor.

From the website:

Crisp, light pastry filled with warm baked apple, a hint of cinnamon and sweet whipped cream. A traditional bakery favourite.

Smoko time and the new apprentice is doing the bakery run. You’ve been on the go since before Sparrow’s on this cold winter’s morning and you’re fed up with the usual sausage roll. A light pocket of fresh pastry, a hint of cinnamon, soft, warm baked apple and sweet whipped cream sounds about right.

The Review:

There’s one thing that I can say for this one. I get an instant wall of flavour. It really does hit you, and all in a totally great way.

“Apple Turnover” by Bunyip’s Vapes, smacks you right in the tastebuds with a huge flavour hit. The sweet spiced stewed apple paired with fresh whipped cream and a doughy pastry make for a really tasty dessert mix with layers in all the right places and a depth that is off the charts!

Individual Notes

The Apple is a warm stewed apple with minimal tartness, a sweet syrupy undertone, with a slight acidity that brightens the profile.

Theres a cinnamon here that feels as though it comes from both the apple and the bakery. It’s only light and strikes the right balance adding some warmth and sweetness.

The bakery notes are very doughy. Light and fluffy without weighing things down, its a really nice choice for the bakery side of things. The whipped cream added makes the dough really pop adding some contrast and a little thickness.

Inhale & Exhale

The inhale is of warm stewed apple, it’s sweet, lightly spiced with cinnamon and really has that stickiness of flavour that you’ll experience eating a turnover.

Toward the end of the inhale, I get a hint of whipped cream, and warm bakery.

At the exhale, the cream and bakery intensify revealing a really nice contrast between the cool cream, and lightly spiced sweet dough.

The apple is still present on the exhale and the end of the vape is a lovely mix of all notes combined yet still separately defined.

Final thoughts

“Apple Turnover” is an impressive full textured dessert vape that will knock your socks off.
Definitely recommend this one!
