eJuice Review 100: 6:00 AM by The Manic Vape

2016-05-17_09-47-17_largeThe Manic Vape have been around for a while now, and have quite the line up.

I’ve previously tried a couple of their flavours and was quite impressed, so have been really looking forward to trying the entire range.

So here is my sixth review of the Manic Vape range.

Today I’ll be reviewing “6:00 AM”.

You can pick up The Manic Vape range from their website @ http://www.themanicvape.com.au

From the website:

“A delightful wake up call. forgot breakfast, forget about it because you have all the breakfast cereal you need right here….
Inhale: Biscuit Cereal & Mixed Berries
Exhale: Sweet Citrus & Milk”

The Review:

A cereal vape! It’s been ages since I reviewed a cereal based mix. Why? Who knows? They were all the rage last year and it seemed like everybody had one in their juice line.

This one is primarily a fruit loops type of flavour, not unlike most of the others that have come out over the last year. Standard cereal, milk and citrus to give the illusion of your favourite loopy breakfast.

It does have a unique cakey sweetness to it though, its a small difference and I’ve found it quite difficult to nail down exactly what that nuance is.
I’m leaning toward a touch of biscuit or perhaps a cake flavour has been added in here for some depth.

Inhale is mostly a slight berry coming through under the cereal, then toward the height of the inhale I get the lemon or citrus notes biting in, giving me that bottom of the bowl fruit loops nuance.

The exhale is where things get sweet and creamy. The mouth feel thickens up here and the flavour really solidifies, everything falls into place to give a really lemoney but lovely milky cereal.

The cereal isn’t forefront, its always in the background though providing substance and a platform for the milk and cream to bind with and for the citrus to contrast with.

Personally I feel that the lemon nuance could be pushed back a little instead of it being the dominant note, but that’s just personal preference.

All in all this is a really lovely version of everyone’s favourite loopy cereal

Steeping is definately recommended with this one due to the creams.
